18+ 2. Age Restriction & Strict 18+ Policy
PubUp is strictly intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older.
Because our platform caters to social nightlife, dining, pub venues, DJ nights, and age-restricted entertainment, we do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under 18. If we discover that personal data of a person under 18 has been submitted, we will take steps to delete the information and terminate the associated account, subject to applicable law.

Depending on how you use PubUp or PubUp Partner, we may collect the following categories of information.
👤 Information you provide
- Account details: Full name, phone number, email address, gender, profile photo, and date of birth for age verification.
- Partner details: Business name, trade licence, venue address, GSTIN, PAN, bank payout details, and authorized manager contact details.
- Bookings: Event ticket purchases, table booking times, party size, guest counts, and seating preferences.
- Support: Emails, chats, queries, feedback, and other messages sent to our support team.

- Device model and operating system version.
- Unique device identifiers, such as Android ID or Advertising ID, where available and permitted.
- IP address and mobile network provider.
- Crash logs, diagnostics, and application session statistics.
⚙ 4. Prominent Disclosure: Device Permissions & Usage
We request device permissions to support specific application features. You can control or revoke permissions through your device settings; some features may not work without the relevant permission.

We process personal information for legitimate operational purposes and to provide the services you request, including to:
- Process, confirm, and validate event tickets and restaurant table reservations.
- Generate scannable digital QR codes for venue check-in.
- Verify merchant credentials and process payout settlements.
- Recommend nearby nightlife venues and live events based on your location settings.
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraudulent transactions, duplicate tickets, and security incidents.
- Provide customer care, respond to queries, and resolve grievances.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the reliability and security of our applications.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate core features, subject to appropriate safeguards and their applicable terms.
Google Play Services & Firebase (Google LLC)
- Firebase Authentication: Secure phone OTP verification.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): Delivery of booking alerts and updates.
- Firebase Crashlytics: Application performance and crash diagnostics.
Google Maps Platform
Used for maps, venue addresses, and distance-related features.
Payment gateways (Razorpay / Cashfree)
Used to process transactions securely. PubUp does not store complete debit or credit card numbers, CVV values, or banking passwords on its servers. Payment information is handled by the relevant payment provider under its security and compliance practices.
Cloud infrastructure
Our services are hosted on cloud infrastructure with security controls intended to protect stored and transmitted information.
⌫ 7. Account & Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your PubUp account and associated personal information without a fee. You can submit a request through any of the following methods:
- In the app: Open PubUp → Profile → Settings → Delete My Account.
- Online: Visit pubup.in/delete-account.
- Email: Send a request to support@pubup.in with the subject “Account Deletion Request” and your registered mobile number.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
- In-transit protection: HTTPS/TLS is used to protect communications between your device and our servers.
- Stored data: We apply appropriate safeguards to protect information stored in our systems.
- Access control: Access to customer and merchant information is limited to authorized personnel who need it for their work.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We work to maintain safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we process.
